UK and International Cyber Agency Partners Release Supply Chain Guidance amid Ukraine Crisis

The UK has worked alongside its international partners to issue advice to IT service providers and their clients as an effort to protect firms against the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) – a part of GCHQ – and its partners sets out a series of practical steps for managed service providers (MSPs) and their customers.

MSPs provide IT support to their customers in various ways, and in order to do so they are granted privileged access to a customer’s network, creating opportunities for attackers to gain access to networks, such as in the case of Solarwinds in 2020.
